PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Tweave manufactures both 2-way and 4-way stretch woven fabrics containing anywhere from less than 10% to over 50% spandex.  The resulting spandex blends usually contain nylon ranging from microdeniers such as Invista's Tactel® to heavy Cordura® yarns.  There are also blends available with cotton, Lenzing Modal®, and other specialty yarns.  Stretch woven fabrics have a wide range of end uses including:

Intimate Apparel

Designed to be used primarily in the shapewear category, where power and stretch are most important.

 

Activewear

Engineered to withstand the rigors of physical activity, this category includes rugged and durable styles.

 

Upholstery

Used in the contract furniture industry, with both rigid and stretch styles available, geared toward the specialty/designer customer.

 

Medical and Industrial Applications

Developed by working closely with industry, to meet specialized needs and functions.
